We put up this hoop barn in 2004. It is 50'w x 300'l. We have room to house up to 300 head. We also have a working system with scale to capture in and out weights. A vertical mixer wagon is used to utilize any and all feedstuffs. Both wet and dry distillers grains, wet and dry beet pulp, are a few of the crop bi-products that have been used in the past. Hope works with RFID tags and readers, age and source verification programs, and natural feeding programs. Mike started a registered Red Poll Herd in 1999.
Mike's background is in farming and he holds a degree from Southwest Minnesota State Univeristy in Ag Buisness, with an emphasis in Agronomy. Hope's background is in all aspects of dairy. She graduted with a BS in Dairy Production from South Dakota State University in December 2001.
